AVENGERS  Competition Team Trials

SUMMER '07

American Gold's Team AVENGERS held it's Summer Team Trials for their competition and Elite Teams over the last two weekends in August. Team candidates endured two days of grueling workouts, drills, tests and Team-building activities in the record Virginia heat, for a chance at becoming an "AVENGER". The AVENGERS pride themselves on success in competition and uphold quite a tough standard when it comes to making the Honored Team. "These kids are really tough, and they just want the chance to show it...if it was easy, everyone would do it." remarked Head Coach Jet Thornton.

"HEART of a HERO"

AGMA newcomer Nick Belby showed strong promise in the skeptical eyes of Team AVENGERS' Coaches and was Honored with the "HEART of a HERO" Award, giving him a spot on the Team Roster and the title of "AVENGER."

American Gold Martial Arts is an approved 501(c)3 non-profit tax-exempt organization dedicated to the teaching, training and promotion of competition in Olympic-style sports at the Local, District, State, Regional, National and International levels, as well as promoting academic excellence by providing free homework assistance, unlimited tutoring and SOL preparation.  AGMA trained and coached numerous National & International Champions, Medalists and Competitors since forming as a charitable organization, which is sponsored and supported by many dedicated and caring parents, sponsors, vendors and volunteers.
